Ingredients

  • 250 g spinach, fresh (alternatively frozen)
  • 8 slices meat loaf, 60g each
  • 1 tablespoon mustard, medium hot
  • some nutmeg
  • some pepper
  • some salt, (lemon salt)
  • Cheese, grated Emmentaler
  • some fat, for frying

Instructions

  1. Wash the spinach, (thaw frozen spinach) remove the stalks and pat dry (squeeze out frozen spinach).
  2. Spread mustard on meat loaf, top with spinach and season with nutmeg, pepper and a little lemon salt. Roll up from the long side and pin in place with toothpicks.
  3. Heat the fat in a coated pan and fry the rolls briefly until they are nicely browned. Sprinkle the cheese on top, put the lid on and remove the heat. When the cheese has melted, serve.
  4. If you want to cook them in the microwave, you don`t need the frying fat and let them cook at 600 ° for 4 minutes.
  5. Vegetables or lettuce and rye sticks go well with this.
