Ingredients
- 400 g rice (sushi rice, or short rain rice)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 500 ml water
- 3 tablespoon vinegar (rice vinegar)
- 1 tablespoon sugar

- Bring the rice to the boil with salted water and let it soak for 15 minutes. Let it evaporate for another 15 minutes in an open pot. Stir in rice vinegar and sugar. Let the rice cool down completely until you are ready to use it.
