Ingredients

  • 5 tablespoon raisins
  • 8 date (s), pitted
  • 1 pomegranate
  • 4 tablespoon almond flakes
  • 400 g couscous
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 3 tablespoon butter
  • 4 teaspoons cinnamon powder
  • 2 tablespoon orange blossom water
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 4 tablespoon powdered sugar, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Put the raisins in a bowl, scald with hot water and leave to swell.
  2. In the meantime, cut the dates into eighths, halve the pomegranate and remove the red fruit kernels. Roast the almonds in a pan without fat until light brown.
  3. Prepare the couscous according to the package instructions with a pinch of salt, stir in the butter. Drain the raisins, drain and mix well with the couscous, pomegranate seeds, dates, flaked almonds, cinnamon powder, honey and orange blossom water.
  4. Layer on a plate, dust with a little cinnamon and powdered sugar and serve warm.
  5. Also suitable as a small main meal.
