  • 250 g flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 100 g cornstarch
  • 100 g powdered suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 250 g butter
  • Cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Quickly knead the nuts, flour, baking powder, cornstarch, powdered sugar, vanilla sugar, salt and butter into a dough, then shape into four rolls about three centimeters in diameter. Roll in cocoa powder until the rolls are evenly brown on the outside and refrigerate overnight.
  2. The next day, cut into ½ cm thick slices with a knife and bake at 180 ° on the middle rack for 15 to 20 minutes until light yellow. Attention, the thalers easily turn too brown!
  3. The cookies have to sit in a tightly closed can for a few days, only then do they taste really good.
  4. The recipe makes about 80 cookies.
