Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 160 g flour
  • 0.75 teaspoon ¾ baking powder
  • 0.75 teaspoon ¾ baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon ¼ salt
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 1 large egg (s)
  • 150 g natural yourt
  • 1 tablespoon oil, neutral
  • 2 teaspoons lemon (s), add the juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the cast:

  • 2 tablespoon powdered sugar, (heaped)
  • Syrup, (raspberry syrup)
  • Chocolate sprinkles
  • Butter, melted for the baking pan
  • 2 teaspoons powdered sugar, for the baking pan

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, spread a little melted butter on a donut baking pan and sprinkle with 2 teaspoons of powdered sugar. Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix the sugar, eggs, yogurt, oil, lemon juice and vanilla extract together. Add the flour mixture and stir in. Put the dough with a tablespoon into the wells of the baking pan and then bake the donuts in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes. They should be a light brown color. It is advisable to check so that they do not get too dark. Let cool in the baking pan for 5 minutes and then let cool down completely on a wire rack.
  2. For the topping, stir 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar with a little raspberry syrup. The pour should be viscous and then pour it over each donut. As long as it is not firm, you can sprinkle the donuts with chocolate sprinkles. Of course, you can also mix the powdered sugar with lemon juice, rum, etc., just as you like. But you should always add a topping, the dough is tailored to it. They taste best fresh and the dough makes a normal donut tray with 6 pieces.
