Ingredients

  • 2 packs cheese, patros with fine feta cubes
  • 150 g butter
  • 8 olives
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 8 slices cheese, Gouda
  • basil

Instructions

  1. Mix the patros with the butter, chop the olives and basil, press the garlic and add. Preheat the oven. Place parchment paper on a baking sheet and place the 8 slices of Gouda cheese side by side to form a large square. The edges should overlap a bit so that the cheese stays together. Then put it briefly in the oven and let the cheese melt slightly. Takes no more than 1 - 2 minutes. Take the baking sheet out of the oven, spread the patros mixture on the cheese (leave about 4 cm free on one side, otherwise it will bulge out when rolling up) and then carefully roll it up from the other side using the baking paper. Wrap the whole thing in aluminum foil and put it in the fridge for a few hours.
  2. Delicious side dish to baguette. If you put 2 - 3 basil leaves under the cheese before baking, it will look very decorative after rolling it up.
