Ingredients

  • 3 tomato (s), dried, not pickled in oil
  • 1 teaspoon water, warm
  • 3 tablespoon basil, fresh, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons linseed oil
  • 1 teaspoon herbal salt with Italian herbs (*)
  • freshly ground some pepper
  • 1 tablespoon, heaped pine nuts
  • 250 g low-fat quark
  • 150 g natural yourt, 3.8%

Instructions

  1. Dice the dried tomatoes finely and place in a bowl with the warm water. Let soak for 5 minutes.
  2. While the tomatoes soak, toast the pine nuts in a pan over medium heat without any oil, stirring frequently, for 2–3 minutes until fragrant and lightly golden.
  3. Add the quark, yogurt, fresh basil, linseed oil, herbal salt, and pepper to the soaked tomatoes and pine nuts. Stir until well combined.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning with more herbal salt and pepper as needed.
  5. Serve with jacket potatoes or as a dip with raw vegetables.
