Mushroom Croutons

Croutons are served with mushrooms fried with garlic.

Cook: 20 minutes

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • Greenhouse champignon mushrooms (cut into slices) – 3.5 cups
  • Forest mushrooms, mix (cut into slices) – 230 g
  • Baguette (cut diagonally) – 12 slices
  • Olive oil – 3 tbsp
  • Garlic (chopped) – 2 cloves
  • Lemon juice – 2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley (chopped) – 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Put the baguette slices in a pan, fry until charred on both sides. Transfer to a plate.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, sprinkle the garlic over it, fry for a few seconds. Then put the greenhouse mushrooms in the pan, cook, stirring occasionally, for about 3 minutes. Then add the remaining mushrooms, fry for a couple of minutes. Sprinkle the stew with lemon juice.
  3. Season with salt and pepper mushroom stew, sprinkle with chopped parsley, stir.
  4. Place the mushroom stew over the croutons and serve immediately.
