Ingredients

  • Mix 400 g walnuts, ground, possibly with almonds and hazelnuts
  • 4 egg whites
  • 250 g powdered suar
  • 2 drops bitter almond flavor
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 drops flavor, (rum oil) or some real rum (1- tablespoon)
  • 1 packet wafers, round

Instructions

  1. Beat the egg whites until stiff and mix with the powdered sugar, then stir in the nuts and remaining ingredients. Shape the solid mass into small balls and place on the wafers. Just touch it once and press in a piece of walnut or almonds if you like.
  2. Bake at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes. Check it every now and then, when it is slightly browned, take it out and let it cool down.
