Pasta Casserole with Canned Fish, Corn and Mozzarella

Pasta, canned fish, and canned corn make a simple, hearty casserole. Bechamel and mozzarella sauce will add a more interesting taste and aroma to the dish. A recipe that everyone can get. Recommend. )

Ingredients

  • Pasta (dry) – 300 g
  • Canned fish in oil – 240 g (1 can)
  • Canned corn – 100 g
  • Mozzarella cheese – 150 g (to taste)
  • Salt to taste
  • Vegetable oil (for lubricating the mold) – 1 teaspoon

Bechamel sauce:

  • Butter – 15 g
  • Flour – 15 g (1 tablespoon)
  • Milk – 400 ml
  • Salt – 1 pinch
  • Pepper – 1 pinch

Directions

  1. You can take any pasta: spirals, horns, feathers. Any canned fish in oil of your taste will do saury, sardine, mackerel. Open cans of fish and corn. Measure out the required amount of corn and place it on a sieve to drain the liquid.
  2. Prepare the sauce. To do this, melt the butter over low heat, add flour, stir. Stirring, lightly brown the flour (1-1.5 minutes). Pour in milk, stir well until smooth. Over low heat, stirring constantly, let the sauce thicken. Season with salt and pepper. Stir and remove from heat. The béchamel sauce is ready.
  3. Boil 2 liters of water in a saucepan, add salt to taste. Pour pasta into boiling water. While stirring, bring to a boil. Cook over low heat until tender, according to the instructions on the package
  4. Turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees. Grease a heat-resistant form (mine – 23×23 cm) with vegetable oil. Mash the fish a little with a fork and put it on the bottom of the mold.
  5. Add canned corn to the finished pasta.
  6. Mix everything. Put the pasta and corn in the sauce and mix well.
  7. Then place the pasta with corn and bechamel sauce on the fish in an even layer.
  8. Grate cheese on a coarse grater (or cut into thin slices). Spread the cheese evenly over the pasta.
  9. Place the dish in a preheated oven, cook for 20 minutes, until the cheese is browned.
  10. Pasta casserole with canned fish, corn, and mozzarella is ready! Decorate the casserole with herbs and serve hot.
