Pear Crumble

Delicate pear with aromatic shortcrust pastry crumb with chocolate and nuts is an amazing alternative to biscuits, cakes and other standard desserts. See the pear crumble recipe!

Servings: 3-4

Ingredients

  • Butter – 120 Grams
  • Sugar – 2 Tbsp. spoons
  • Wheat flour – 0.5 cups
  • Oatmeal flour – 1 Glass
  • Vanillin – 2 Pinches
  • Cinnamon – 2 Pinches
  • Nutmeg – 2 Pinches
  • Chocolate chips – 50 grams
  • Cashew – 50 Gram
  • Pears – 3 Pieces

Directions

  1. Cut the frozen butter into cubes. Add a tablespoon of sugar.
  2. Then add wheat and oat flour, nutmeg, vanilla and cinnamon. Mix everything.
  3. It is best to knead the dough with your hands, you should get a crumb dry to the touch. Add more flour if necessary. Grease a baking dish with a little butter and sprinkle with a tablespoon of sugar. Set aside for now. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees.
  4. Rinse the pears, remove the stalks and seeds. Cut into wedges and place in a baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle with chocolate chips on top. Do not just lay out the dough tightly – the pear should “breathe”, you can leave gaps.
  6. Top with cashew nuts as a finishing touch. Place in the oven for about half an hour. The finished crumble will turn golden, and you will know from the aroma that it is time to take it out of the oven.
  7. Allow the pear crumble to cool slightly before serving.
  8. You can serve in bowls.
