Popcorn Candy with Marshmallows

Very original and unusual sweets are made from popcorn and melted marshmallows! Light and airy candy-balls roll in coconut flakes and look very impressive on the table!

Ingredients

  • Marshmallows – 90 g
  • Coconut flakes – 50 g
  • Popcorn, sweet or unflavored – 25 g
  • Butter – 15 g
  • Vanilla sugar – 0.25 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – 0.25 teaspoon

Directions

  1. Prepare the food you need.
    Choose popcorn sweet or unflavored. Confectionery sprinkles can be used instead of coconut if desired.
  2. Break the popcorn into small crumbs with your hands.
  3. In water or steam bath in a metal bowl, melt the butter and add a little salt and vanilla sugar, stir.
  4. Add the marshmallows to a bowl and, stirring occasionally, melt until smooth. This process will take about 4-5 minutes, depending on the intensity of the fire.
  5. While stirring, gradually add the popcorn to the melted butter and marshmallows.
  6. You should get the most homogeneous mass.
  7. Lubricate your hands with vegetable oil and form small balls the size of a large walnut. The balls keep their shape perfectly!
    Dip each ball in coconut flakes and place on a clean plate.
  8. Popcorn candies with marshmallows are ready! They can be served immediately after cooking!
