Pork Chops Stuffed with Tomatoes, Herbs and Onions, Fried in Breadcrumbs

An interesting meat dish can be prepared from pork with tomatoes, onions, and herbs. Lightly beaten pieces of meat with filling are dipped in an egg-mustard mixture, rolled in breadcrumbs and sesame seeds, and then fried in a pan. Cooking this dish, similar to zrazy, consists of several simple steps that can be repeated even by beginners in cooking.

Ingredients

  • Pork (loin without bone) – 400 g
  • Tomatoes – 150 g (3 medium-sized)
  • Onions – 50 g (1 small)
  • Parsley – 10 g (2-3 sprigs)
  • Lemon (for zest) – 0.5 pcs.
  • Garlic – 1 clove
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Mustard – 20 g (1 tablespoon)
  • Bread crumbs – 40 g (2-3 tablespoons)
  • Sesame seeds – 15 g (1 tablespoon)
  • Sunflower oil – 50 ml
  • Salt – to taste (1 teaspoon)
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

You will also need wooden toothpicks during the cooking process.

Directions

  1. Cut the boneless pork loin into pieces about 1 cm thick.
  2. We cut off the fat from the meat, cut the layers of pork in half. Thus, the pieces are about 5-6 cm long. Lightly beat off each piece of meat from both sides.
  3. It turned out 8 pieces – two layers per “cutlet”.
  4. Peel the onion and cut it into thin rings. Cut the tomatoes into slices. Finely chop the parsley. Remove the zest layer from the lemon and chop finely. Peel the garlic and pass it through a press. Combine parsley, zest, and garlic.
  5. Salt a piece of meat and light pepper on both sides.
  6. We spread a circle of tomato on the meat. Salt the tomato a little. Put a circle of onion on top of the tomato and add some greenery. Layout the tomato again. Cover the filling with the second beaten piece of meat.
  7. We fasten the edges with toothpicks. Thus, we form all the cutlets.
  8. Combine the egg, mustard, salt, and ground pepper (about 0.5 teaspoon). We mix.
  9. Mix the breadcrumbs with sesame seeds.
  10. Pour sunflower oil into a preheated pan. Dip the cutlets into the mustard-egg mixture on both sides. Then gently roll in breadcrumbs and sesame seeds.
  11. And immediately put it in a preheated pan with butter. Fry pork chops with tomatoes, herbs, and onions over slightly less than medium heat until browned on both sides.
  12. We take out the toothpicks, and you can serve the dish to the table. These veggie-filled pork chops can be served hot or cold. Enjoy your meal!
