Potato Casserole with Cheese, Garlic and Herbs

A delicious and simple dish for every day is a potato casserole with cheese, herbs, and garlic.

Cook: 1 hour 

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • Potatoes – 500 g
  • Hard cheese – 70 g
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp
  • Garlic – 1 clove
  • Greens – 3 branches
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Butter (for greasing the mold) – 30 g

Directions

  1. Grate cheese on a fine grater. Peel the garlic and also grate it on a fine grater. Finely chop the greens.
  2. Mix half the cheese with 1 egg and herbs. And postpone. Put the oven to heat up to 170-180 degrees.
  3. Mix the second egg with the remaining cheese, garlic, and mayonnaise. Grate potatoes on a coarse grater.
  4. And add a mixture of cheese, mayonnaise, garlic, and eggs. Season with salt, pepper and mix well.
  5. Grease a baking dish (I have a diameter of 23 cm) with oil, put the potato mass, smooth. Gently spread the mixture of cheese, herbs, and eggs on top.
  6. Cover the casserole dish with foil and bake in a preheated oven at 170-180 degrees for 30-40 minutes. 10 minutes before being ready, remove the foil and let it brown.
