Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Aina Garten blends Brussels sprouts with olive oil and spices and bakes until tender, warm brown

Cook: 50 minutes

Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • 700 gr. brussels sprouts
  • 3 tbsp good olive oil
  • 3/4 teaspoon coarse salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200C.
  2. Cut off the brown ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow leaves. Combine everything in a bowl with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast the kale for 35 to 40 minutes, until crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Stir the dish from time to time.
  3. Sprinkle with salt and serve immediately.
