Chicken Fillet Chops in Cheese and Mustard Batter

Chicken fillet, which many consider dietary, can be used to make delicious and juicy chops. Thanks to the spicy batter of eggs, starch, sour cream, soy sauce, grain mustard and grated hard cheese, the chops acquire a delicious crust – ruddy and aromatic. These chops are much more nutritious, they are very appetizing and tender. Fun to cook!

Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet – 400 g
  • Hard cheese – 200 g
  • Starch – 35 g
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Soy sauce – 1 tbsp (15 ml)
  • Sour cream – 40 g
  • French mustard – 35 g
  • Vegetable oil – 50-70 ml
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. We prepare the necessary products.
  2. Wash the chicken fillet, dry it with paper towels and cut it crosswise into 2 parts, if it is large.
  3. Then we cut each part lengthwise into slices about 1 cm thick.
  4. Lightly beat each piece of chicken fillet with a hammer.
  5. Sprinkle the chops with pepper and lightly salt. It is worth considering that the batter will also be salty, so the main thing is not to oversalt.
  6. Break eggs into a bowl.
  7. Add starch, soy sauce, sour cream and mustard to the eggs.
  8. Mix well.
  9. Grate the cheese on a medium or fine grater.
  10. Mix again.
  11. The batter is very thick. Dip fillet pieces into the batter.
  12. Dip the fillet well on both sides.
  13. Heat 2 tablespoon in a frying pan. tablespoons of vegetable oil and spread the fillet pieces. Add a little more batter on top with a spoon for each chop
  14. Fry the chops on both sides over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Fry the chops a few at a time, adding vegetable oil as needed.
  15. We put the chicken fillet chops in cheese-mustard batter on a plate and serve with fresh vegetables, herbs or a side dish of your choice.
