Ingredients

  • 1 kg pak choi, small leaves (Asian shop)
  • 150 g okra pods
  • 125 g ham, diced
  • 125 g crab meat
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 small onion (s), red
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 sprigs thyme, fresh
  • 0.5 liter ½ chicken broth, from the glass
  • 100 ml coconut milk
  • 7 small chilli pepper (s), green
  • Salt and pepper, from the mill

Instructions

  1. Peel the onion and garlic. Dice the onion and pass the garlic through a garlic press. Cut the green chili peppers into small pieces.
  2. Heat the oil in a saucepan and lightly fry the diced ham, garlic, onion and chili peppers.
  3. If the onion is translucent, add the pak choi leaves whole and pour the chicken broth on top.
  4. Wash and halve the okra pods and place in the saucepan with the thyme sprigs and add the coconut milk. Finally fold in the crab meat. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  5. This is an exotic change from the usual vegetable side dishes.
