  • 200 g flour
  • 100 g fried onions
  • 200 g ham or salami
  • 200 g cheese (Gouda or Emmentaler), rated
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 250 ml milk

Instructions

  1. Cut the ham or salami into small cubes. Put the flour, fried onions, ham or salami, the grated cheese and the baking powder together in a bowl and then mix with 1/4 l milk.
  2. It is best to line two baking sheets with parchment paper and shape the mixture into small thalers. You can also take two teaspoons and then shape them into small heaps, but experience has shown that it is faster if you shape the thalers by hand.
  3. Depending on the size of the thalers, I can`t say exactly how many there will be in the end, but two baking trays are usually there. Personally, I think it`s better when the thalers are small. My husband always forms big thalers.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for approx. 15 minutes at 150 ° C, until the thalers (here too, the baking time varies depending on the oven and the size of the thalers) is golden yellow.
