Ingredients

  • 250 g flour
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 4 tablespoon rapeseed oil
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 5 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
  • 60 g raisins
  • 2 papaya
  • 1 lemon (s), juice it
  • 2 large apples, tart ones
  • 3 tablespoon apricot jam

Instructions

  1. Mix 200 g flour, 1 egg, 3 tablespoons oil, salt and 4 tablespoons lukewarm water, knead into a smooth dough, shape into a ball, brush with the remaining oil and refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes.
  2. Peel and halve the papayas and apples and remove the seeds or core. Dice the pulp, let it soak in the lemon juice for about 10 minutes, then mix with sugar, cinnamon and raisins.
  3. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Dust a kitchen towel with the remaining flour. Roll out the dough into a thin rectangle, then brush with the jam. Spread the papaya-apple mixture over 2/3 of the dough, leave an approx. 3 cm wide edge free on the long sides and fold in.
  4. Use the cloth to roll the dough up to the free third. Place the strudel with the seam down on a baking tray lined with baking paper, brush with egg yolk and bake in the hot oven for about 40 minutes.
