Azu in Tatar (Folk Dish)

Azu in Tatar is a folk dish, which must include meat, potatoes, tomato sauce, and pickles.

  • Tomato paste – 1 tbsp

  • Vegetable oil – 5 tbsp
  • Parsley

Directions

How to cook Tatar azu with beef:

  1. Preheat a frying pan and pour in 3 tablespoon. tablespoons of vegetable oil. Place the meat in the pan.
  2. Fry the meat on all sides and transfer to a cauldron.
  3. Pour the beef with water (200 g) and add cucumbers and onions there. Dilute the tomato paste with water and pour it into a cauldron. Season with salt and cook for 40 minutes.
  4. Dry the potatoes with paper towels and fry in a pan with the same vegetable oil in which the beef was fried, adding another 2 tablespoon. tablespoons of oil.
  5. Pour potatoes into a cauldron and simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Add finely chopped garlic.
  7. Add chopped greens there.
