One of the 4 colorful bars in Warsaw, opened under the common name PiwPaw, is located in the center, directly opposite the Sabat Variety Theater. Here beer lovers will be delighted: 95 taps for absolutely every taste! Along with the usual porters, stouts and ales, there are original craft varieties such as chocolate or orange beer in the range. Before deciding on a choice and order, you can take 0.04 liters per sample.

Snacks in the bar are quite simple, but delicious: pizza, a large cheese plate, bruschetta. It is worth mentioning an interesting interior: the walls inside seem to be made of beer lids, and this amazing mosaic, along with beer, can be called one of the main “chips” of PiwPaw Beer Heaven.

Few people know this Czech restaurant in the center of Warsaw, named after the famous “brave soldier”. No matter what time of day you come, there will always be a rumble of lively voices inside: guests and residents of the Polish capital are happy to come to Schweik to eat. Connoisseurs of Czech beer do not miss the restaurant either: they pour real Pilsner Urquell here and delight visitors with original craft varieties.

Those who like antiques, “Schweik” will surely like it. Inside the walls of the restaurant are decorated with old photographs, documents, and newspaper sheets of the first half of the twentieth century. The cuisine is solid and traditional: giant schnitzels, crispy pork knuckle, duck with apples, bramboraki – in short, everything that Czechs like to cook and eat. Especially for a large company, the menu has an “officer’s dish” for beer: with lots of meat delicacies, rice, potatoes, and cabbage.

The prestigious restaurant of modern Polish cuisine is located in a picturesque place in Warsaw – Royal Lazenki Park, in the building of a new greenhouse, which is more than 150 years old. As in the past, here you can relax under the shade of a century-old palm tree and other unusual tropical plants.

In 2014, the interior of the restaurant was significantly renovated. Boris Kudlichka, an outstanding stage designer of the Polish National Opera, supervised the implementation of the project. The combination of modern elegant design and lush greenery has made the restaurant one of the cult places in Warsaw, although even before that it did not know the lack of visitors.

For excellent cuisine, whose dishes are created from Polish recipes and natural seasonal products, Belvedere has repeatedly received the Michelin Plate, an honorary badge of an authoritative restaurant guide. Many guests, and the residents of Warsaw themselves, come here to try the signature duck with red oranges or veal in truffle sauce.

Another gourmet challenge is the local selection of select steaks, including a great Japanese vagu steak and an excellent American roast beef, to which the sommelier will definitely recommend a glass of good Polish or French wine.

Atelier Amaro

Atelier Amaro

Gourmets of the Polish capital, without exception, are trying to get to the most famous Michelin restaurant in Warsaw today. He gained part of his fame thanks to the owner: in 2013, Wojciech Modest Amaro, the author of several culinary bestsellers, was the first in the country to receive a prestigious star from an authoritative restaurant guide. Then there were 4 Gault & Miliau Polska chef’s hats, but they only once again confirmed the high culinary skills of Atelier Amaro chefs.

But the main component of the restaurant’s success is the rumor, which quickly spread among connoisseurs of experimental Polish cuisine. The “Atelier” serves not ordinary dishes, but the so-called “moments”, created on the basis of the best seasonal products from different regions of the country. In addition, the restaurant has its own farm near Warsaw, where they breed quail, ducks, and piglets.

Wines or signature Polish alcoholic beverages are finely selected for each dish: tinctures, vodka from small distilleries, intoxicating honey. The final touch to the perfect evening will be a warning and pleasant service.
