Ingredients

  • 2 pack dumplings (6 pieces each)
  • 1 liter vegetable broth
  • 1 large onion (s)
  • 3 egg (s)
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

  1. Let the Maultaschen steep in the vegetable broth. 10 minutes are sufficient. Remove the Maultaschen from the broth and cut in half.
  2. In the meantime, cut the onion into fine strips and sauté in a large pan with heated oil. Add the halved ravioli and fry. Season to taste with salt, pepper and paprika powder.
  3. Add 1-2 ladles from the vegetable stock to the Maultaschen to deglaze and let them soak in. The Maultaschen should get a nice shine and not get too dry.
  4. Meanwhile, fry and season 3 fried eggs.
  5. Place the Maultaschen with the onions on a plate and top with a fried egg.
  6. Potato salad (must not be dressed with mayonnaise) or fried potatoes also taste good.
