Homemade Lavash (without Yeast)

It’s a version of oriental bread. Lavash turns out to be thin, tasty, and cooks quickly.

Ingredients

  • Flour – 300 g
  • Water – 150 ml
  • Vegetable oil – 3 tablespoon.
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Sift flour into a cup, make a depression in the middle – add water and oil there, add salt.
  2. Knead the dough.
  3. It should be very elastic. If necessary, you can lubricate your hands with vegetable oil.
  4. Divide the dough into pieces according to the size of the pan. The layers must be very thin. Do not be afraid to roll them out – the dough is very elastic and does not tear. Although this time I did not very thin, but smaller in size.
  5. Fry pita bread in a well-heated frying pan without oil very quickly! Cover the finished pita bread with a wet towel!
