Khachapuri with Potatoes and Cheese

Delicious tortillas with cheese and potatoes.

Servings: 8

Ingredients

  • Kefir – 1 glass
  • Soda – 0.75 teaspoon
  • Vinegar – 1 teaspoon
  • Flour – 2-3 cups
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Eggs – 1 pc.
  • Boiled potatoes – 200 g
  • Suluguni cheese – 200 g
  • or Brynza – 200 g
  • Vegetable oil – 3-4 tbsp

Directions

  1. Prepare food for cooking khachapuri with potatoes and cheese.
  2. Mix egg, kefir, salt, vinegar and soda.
  3. Add flour.
  4. Knead the dough. Put in the cold for 30 minutes.
  5. Cut into 6-8 equal parts, roll balls out of them.
  6. Mash the potatoes with the cheese or feta cheese and stir until smooth.
  7. Roll out each part, put a ball of mashed potatoes mixed with grated cheese in any proportions in the middle.
  8. Gather up and pinch the edges.
  9. Roll out into a flat cake.
  10. Heat 0.5 tablespoon in a frying pan. tablespoons of vegetable oil. Fry each cake in vegetable oil over low heat under a closed lid on both sides. First 2 minutes on one side.
  11. And then another 2 minutes on the other.
  12. Khachapuri with cheese and potatoes are ready!
