Mini Pies Made of Yeast-Free Dough, with Meat and Potatoes

Mini pies made from yeast-free dough turned out to be very tasty! Thin crispy crust, lots of favorite filling and such a delicious flavor. I will repeat the recipe and recommend it to you!

Ingredients

For the test:

  • Flour – 350-400 g + for sprinkling on a baking sheet
  • Butter – 125 g + for greasing the baking sheet
  • Kefir – 250 ml
  • Salt – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Soda – 1 teaspoon

For filling:

  • Meat (pork) – 300-350 g
  • Potatoes – 200 g
  • Bulb onions – 1 pc.
  • Butter – 30-40 g
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

For lubrication:

  • Yolk – 1 pc.
  • Milk – 1 tbsp

Directions

  1. Let’s start with the dough, prepare all the products. The oil should be from the refrigerator.
  2. Rub the butter into flour (on a coarse grater) and rub it into crumbs with your hands. Here – salt. Add soda to kefir and mix well. Combine everything in a cup and knead the yeast-free dough.
  3. Put the dough in a bag or simply cover with a foil. We let him lie down for about 20 minutes.
  4. During this time, we will prepare the filling.
  5. Cut the onion into small cubes.
  6. Cut the potatoes in the same way.
  7. Cut the meat (slightly frozen will be easier to cut) also cut into small cubes.
  8. We connect everything, add salt and black pepper. Stir – and the filling is ready.
  9. The dough is soft, slightly sticks to your hands, divide into 10 equal parts (I have 76 g each). We make flat koloboks-blanks.
  10. We pull each blank into a small cake (you can use a rolling pin). Add the filling (1.5-2 tablespoons) and a piece of butter to the center of the cake. We pinch everything at the top, leaving a small hole.
  11. We put on a prepared baking sheet, grease the blanks with yolk mixed with milk.
  12. We bake mini pies with meat and potatoes at a temperature of 180 degrees, time – 40 minutes
